Friday, January 7

Hah!! It's been close to a month that I haven't updated this bloggie o' mine; lazy as hell to do so 'coz there's so many things to update. So hmmm...where to start, I wonder?? Went bowling with the Chill Club last Wednesday, then played Twister after that. On Friday, we played Badminton, met up with Art afterwards for dinner then went to Clarke Quay to have an early New Year. I knocked off first 'coz Mom started calling my cell & started asking my whereabouts & yada, yada, yada.

And as we've all heard of the Boxing Day tsunami, I shall not add my two cents in 'coz it'll only cause more heartache & misery. Let's just all agree that it was such a tragedy & leave it at that. Call, it the act of God or such if you will but things do happen for a reason.

Proceeding on, me, Chippy, Penis & Kitty went to catch the SG vs MYA match on Sunday at the National Stadium in which SG won -woohoo!!- 4 goals to 2 & on aggregate, 8-5. Give it up for the Lions, yo!! Even Chippy treated us to a view of his jiggly tummy when he stripped out of his T-shirt during an overwhelming moment. But boy, what a riot the match caused. Dustbins flying around, food & miscellaneous stuff -even an umbrella hook- coming from all directions; it was like a free-for-all. A MYA fan got beaten up by a couple of skinheads, some got arrested for jumping down onto the pitch & assaulting a police officer; it was a semi-blown riot.

Nonetheless, we all went home happy that our six bucks hadn't gone to waste. I had gone there supporting Noh Alam Shah, Baihakki, Aide Iskandar & Lionel Lewis & also the rest of the Lions, all of whom didn't fail us fans. The defence was rock-solid -Baihakki being the tallest of the pack- the midfield not too bad, but the strikers could use a little more work & accuracy. Agu Casmir could've score more & none of the strikers really had an edge to them & neither was there an attacking flair. But, they played & they played well; regardless of Indra Sahdan missing a dodo penalty. In the end, SG was the last man standing, what with 3 MYA players sent out on red cards.

We decided that by hook or by crook, we were going to watch SG battle out with neighbors IND on the 16th Jan at either the National Stadium or the Jalan Besar Stadium. Just found out today that Alam Shah's married & with 2 kids!! Damn...he's only 24!! Why do soccer players always get married young?? But. Never mind, there's always Baihakki...ahahahakz!!

Anywayz, went jamming with the Chill Club after watching Meet The Fockers...what a hilarious movie!! Aaash-hoooole...god, Little Jack, what a baby you are!! Horny, cute, intelligent & adorable all rolled into one.

So, yeah, went jamming for the first time & pleaded Chippy to teach me the drums. Well, instead of actually teaching me, the fella pointed out the different parts of the drum set. What the heck!! So, by actually watching Chippy hit them drums, I was able to catch a little here & there. And this time I really preassured him to give me a few lessons on it. It only took him fifteen minutes max to get me acquainted with the set & after that I was hitting away with the sticks. Take in mind that this was the very first time I've actually touched a drum set much less play it, but I got thumbs up from Mada, Kitty, Art & heck, even Chippy said I was not bad for a beginner. *Beams brightly*

But the beat I was playing was actually kinda simple compared to what Chippy does when he plays; I'm still learning the ropes. Tomorrow, we'll be jamming again probably & Mada's gonna bring in his own drummer & wants me to go on the K/B instead. I'm kinda nervous about it, though. Never done that before, either. Played the piano my whole life but K/B only like for a year or so during my childhood days.

Had lunch with a few of the Chillies before oing home to jam on my piano. Then, went out with the old gang today to sign up for Basic Theory Test yet again at Ubi. And this time instead of paying just six bucks, we had to pay an extra five just to open an account. Then, went back to Tampines to have dinner at Long John's. I had chicken flour, by the way while the rest had fish wraps. Met up with Nur midway through our dinner; the girl had wanted to meet up with us ever since Nini passed her something during her lecture. Unfortunately, we left first before her lessons ended & so we met up with her once we were back in Tampines.

All in all, my days in school aren't as bad as they seem, although I still don't favor some people around me, I try to tune them out as much as I can now. I just don't bother but I do stand up for myself when there comes a need to. I'd had enough crap from my previous semesters from them to keep quiet. Like, whatever. Get a life, yo.

Meeting up with the YEPians on Wednesday; so excited to finally be able to see all of them again!! Wahey!! I really need to seriously update & change the layout of my bloggie. But I can't bring myself to do it!! Bah!! One of these days, I will. For now, just go with it...This week has been really tiring; losing alot of sleep lately & almost always coming home late. Can't go on like this. And I'm always coming to class late. Damn...

Laterz...
