I Have Not Been Tagged...

But I spotted this one off one of the food blogs I frequent and thought this one was a thingamajiggy that was way more interesting than most of those that I've seen in recent times. Feel free to grab --that is, if you people actually come and read what I have to say.

1) LAST MOVIE YOU SAW IN A THEATRE?
Damn...uhh, was it such a long time ago that I went to the movies?? It was Step Up 2: The Streets and two of my favorite people were part of the cast: Channing Tatum and Robert Hoffman. Can I lick your dimples, Robert Hoffman??

2) WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING?
Gahh. It would seem that my life does not revolve around romance novels anymore because I have converted myself into a cynical realist. Not bitter, just cynical. The Cross-Cultural Marriage by Sara Hal. Seriously, who is this chick??

3) FAVORITE BOARD GAME?
Taboo?? Ohh, that's not a board game. Monopoly and...what the heck was the name of that game Lawra bought?? Something about expressions.

4) FAVORITE MAGAZINE?
Cosmopolitan which I so do not read anymore. I don't touch any of the local stuff. Who reads them anyway??

5) FAVORITE SMELLS?
Famous Amos cookies!! And the mother's homemade brownies, which is kinda similar to Bodyshop's Amorito, my favorite perfume. Technically, that has been the one constant aroma that's stuck to our home these days because Mom is always baking and sending them to the cafe. Can I also say that I like the masculine scent emanating from males?? It's like having a release of endorphins from eating --or in this case, smelling-- chocolate. Divine.

6) FAVORITE SOUNDS?
The sizzle of onion in hot extra virgin olive oil. The flat velvet head of the hammer hitting the C-string of a grand piano. The revved engine of Bumblebee as I twist in his key. The roar of the crowd in a sold-out concert. The burst of water from the shower head of the gym. My fingernails tapping against Dean's keyboard.

7) WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD?
It would be to feel that you're at a standstill even though you know you're doing the best you can but you're just not getting the exact thing that you strive for.

8) WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU WAKE?
Shan?? *feels around the bed* Shan, where are you??

9) FAVORITE FAST FOOD PLACE?
Long John Silver's because of the Clam Chowder and well, I used to dig their Coleslaw but I've since become a Popeye's convert and would only eat theirs. Fisherman's Wharf for their fresh seafood and fish that really tastes like chicken. It's that fresh. Possibly not as fresh as the ones in Melbourne, but hey, it's close enough. We all can't be too picky.

10) FUTURE CHILD'S NAME?
Only one child?? But I want eight. In any case, I'm not revealing just yet.

11) FINISH THIS STATEMENT—"IF I HAD A LOT OF MONEY I’D..."
Globe-trot. Then work for fun, not for money. And by fun, it would mean voluntarily volunteering. My causes would be for M.I.L.K and W.W.F. You know what, screw that. I'd move the whole family somewhere else where the air is fresher and the grass, greener.

12) DO U DRIVE FAST?
Yes, on an empty road at 2am in the morning when no one else is around and I'm just gunning to go home and crash. If I'm with passengers, no speeding; just half-aggressive driving to make sure they reach home good and early. And safe. Safety is key.

13) DO U SLEEP WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL?
*Slowly reaches out to Shan and flings him behind* No. I do. Not only do I sleep with a stuffed animal, I need tons of pillows --big and small-- surrounding me to get comfortable. And I don't care if I steal my sister's bolster in the middle of the night and make it my own.

14) STORMS –COOL OR SCARY?
Cool because of the breeze billowing at your face like a shampoo commercial. The scent of rain that the wind brings with it is refreshing.

15) WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?
It was a bloody soccermom-ish silver-tinged blue Hyundai Trajet whom I fondly refer to as Optimus Prime. It was the car that saw me through bumps, cracks and police reports. Together, we ran into almost everything except someone else's car. By the way, homo sapiens were inclusive too. I'm proud to say that even with Bumblebee around, I'm still driving Optimus.

16) FAVORITE DRINK?
I would like to say Cheerwine and Solo but they don't have those here. So it's 100 Plus and Mountain Dew. Teh Tarik Ping if I'm having Prata.

17) FINISH THIS STATEMENT-IF I HAD THE TIME I WOULD…
Again, globetrot. 1000 Places To See Before You Die is a such an inspiration that it would take more than a honeymoon to complete. Finishing the damn book I've been toggling around with would also be on top of my list. I would definitely watch every episode of Friends from Season 1 all the way until the last episode and put it on repeat.

18) DO YOU EAT THE STEMS ON BROCCOLI?
Of course!! They're the crunchiest parts and crunchiest parts make the most noise. They taste real good when paired with Blue Cheese dressing too!!

19) IF YOU COULD DYE YOUR HAIR ANY OTHER COLOUR, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR CHOICE?
A deep shade of red that is almost brown. Like dark copper. Oh, dear God. Do I sound like I don't like myself?? Really, I do.

21) FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH?
Oooh, my ultimate favorite question!! Without a doubt, soccer. Live or otherwise. Swimming comes in a close second because we don't get most of the swim meets here with the exception of the Olympics. Ice hockey is quite the thriller and Winter X-Games have started to grow on me.

22) ONE NICE THING ABOUT THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS TO YOU?
Nobody sent this to me. I obligingly took it because it was different. I wouldn't have looked at it twice if I had thought otherwise.

23) WHAT'S UNDER YOUR BED?
*sneezes* No lahh, I despise dust bunnies. Probably one of my many pillows.

24) WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE BORN AS YOURSELF AGAIN??
Of course. Why would I want to be born as someone else?? Losers.

25) MORNING PERSON OR NIGHT OWL?
I am flexible with both but I'm more towards being a vampire and staying up until 4am feasting upon the blood of others. It's not healthy but this lifestyle is going to change pretty soon whether I like it or not.

26) OVER EASY OR SUNNY SIDE UP?
Sunny side up because eggs over easy kinda reminds me of mucus running down from your nose. Eeeew. Besides, I love the crispy edges of sunnies.

27) FAVORITE PLACE TO RELAX?
California Fitness!! Actually, nothing beats home sweet home. Come to think of it, I am hardly ever worked up I don't have the need to sit down and relax. I'm as laid-back as they come.

28) FAVORITE PIE?
The classic Granny Smith apple pie heaped with French vanilla ice cream and drizzled with hot chocolate fudge or butterscotch sauce. *smacks lips*

29) FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR?
I have so many!! Strawberry Cheesecake, Orange Sherbet and Butter Pecan to name the main ones. But technically, I love everything except Pistachio. Have you tasted one of those before?? It's disgustingly vile.
