Dean fell from my lap on my way home on in the bus. That was fine because he was in his sponge-covered clothes. And besides, it wasn't like it was his first fall.
The thing was, he fell on someone's foot. Which is pretty funny if you think about it. Unless of course, you're the victim in question then you might not find it so funny at all. Then you're most likely to think: Ouch.
Hey, I didn't drop Dean on purpose, okay. He just slid from the top of Channing as this Filipino woman was dropping her bum on the seat next to mine. I'm thinking Dean doesn't like her very much.
Of course I apologized!! I am not some rude Singaporean who is ignorant of my wrongdoings. So I uttered my apologies as the woman turned a stricken look towards me. And then I picked Dean up with much sayang and pretended to be the concerned party.
I asked her if Dean had grazed her or whatever because Dean made a pretty loud thunk when he hit the floor. Still with that grimace upon her face she said yes.
Well of course they did!! These people only want pity. So I apologized again and throughout the whole journey she sat with her butt half-in and half-out like as though she was afraid something else would fall on her. Like, Channing perhaps??
Come on, Dean doesn't weigh THAT much. Prolly a few kilos, less than ten I'm very sure. Ain't no biggie. Slightly heavier than Baby Deera, maybe.
Owell. Sorry again, Filipino lady!!
Laterz...
