My Sayang Kiddy Customers...

I just recently started working again. Yeaaaaaaah, you saw it right. I just started working again. At 7-11.

Ehh, don't laugh, okay. Although it isn't worth much, but I guess it's better than nothing.

But, the thing about this new store is that the customers are different from some of the other stores, in my opinion. True, I've only worked in just one store, but well, it's different somehow.

Because most of the patrons that frequent the store are actually primary school students from Griffiths Primary School just right across the bloody street. So, you can imagine during after-school hours & such, kids will be streaming into the store, queueing up for Slurpees, mashed potatoes & Hotties galore.

That, is our target audience. And they don't just come in once or twice. Due to my working hours which stretches from 3pm till 11pm, I can literally meet them five or six times during my shift.

The store just opened three days ago, so you can imagine the kids' delight in relishing the fact that there was a 7-11 store nearby that they can stop by before heading home.

And honestly, kids these day...not poor!! At any one time, they can fork out ten bucks from their small wallets just to buy a Slurpee. Rich brats, ehh.

I remember being in Griffiths with just a dollar fifty cents in my miserly pocket. And that was in Primary 6, mind you. I am pathetic, yes??

So, in the duration of three days, I've come to know the kids not just on a hi-bye basis, but also in a the-kakak-with-curly-hair instance.

One kid would tell me he was going to fetch his father from a fishing trip & he was going with his grandad while another would ask whether or not we sold balloons so he could fill them with water & throw at his friends.

*faints*

And then there was this kid from kindergarten who would come into our shop after he finished school & run around the store, screaming bloody murder. It's a personified zoo, really. And yes, I was indeed tempted to kick the kid with my boot but because his mother is so damn nice & his siblings are regulars there, I have restrained myself tremendously.

I'm not working tomorrow so I won't be able to see my newly adopted sayangs. But, no, I'm not sad at all. I won't miss those little devilsl not one bit!!

I'm heading to the doctor's tomorrow & it'll be kinda late if I did go to work.

Ohh, and yaaaaay!! Supernatural tomorrow!!
