A Blast Of A Day...

Met up with two great friends to purchase some stuff at Bugis today. Though our meeting up was quite late in the evening due to SOMEONE's utmost reluctance to drag himself out of bed, we all got what we wanted & needed in the end. I broke my fast outside of home for the first time this month at Long John Silver's & had an absolutely delightful meal of Grilled Cajun Chicken.

A tad salty the chicken was, but at that point, I didn't care. It was hellish enough trying to finda suitable spot to eat; Bugis was bustling with homosapiens, the usual for each weekend & it was 15 minutes after it was time to eat that we got a place at LJ's.

But in between that, I did get to sip on a cup of Lemon Sugar Cane; the refreshing liquid killed off any thirst I had harbored & even my near-dead friend was revived almost instantly after having a taste. We stayed at LJ's until a little after nine; making conversations about everything & nothing. See, that's the thing about us. We never ran out of things to say. Be it insulting the other or discussing about planning an upcoming outing, we always clicked like the perfect pieces of a puzzle; there was never an awkward moment between us. My only regret is why we never found each other earlier than we did.

I miss them, I really do. Due to my being grounded, I was more or less forbidden to go out especially since it was the fasting month. But, Mummy Alonso has been good enough to allow me at least a little bit of slack & let me off for awhile; I mean, she can't very well keep me cooped inside the house forever, right?? Wouldn't she get sick of me moping around doing almost nothing?? Please, it's enough to drive her nuts.

Will be going to the library tomorrow to return some books which are due soon. And will be meeting BUNNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYY!!! Haven't seen Bunny for a LOOOOOONG while & I miss her so. She wasn't online yesterday so I didn't get to talk to her. And no wonder I felt like something was missing in my life that day. It was because I didn't get to talk to her!! Cheeeeeh. I am SUCH a clingy friend.

Bunny, don't forget to bring the CORRECT papers this time, okay?? I want my Xabi fix & I've waited long enough for it. If you bring another paper with Luis' face on it, I'd seriously use it as toilet paper. Ahahahkz!!

Today's soccer was good; although the part about Chelsea demolishing Bolton Wanderers was...not so good. I'm sure Jose Mourinho would be relishing the fact that his team is on a 9-time unbeaten streak. With LAMPARd & Drogba scoring a brace each & Gud(Bad)johnsen scoring the killing goal. And here at Fantasy League, Chippy is leading the pack with 56 points followed by Kity with 52 points. PK is third with God-knows-how-many points while me & Bunny trail behind.

Know why?? 'Cuz Chips & Kity both have LAMPARd!! It's unfair!! Lampard is the most expensive midfielder in Fantasy League. That's it!! I'm getting myself a Frank Lampard too, no matter how much I hate him. But I'm not parting with my Xabi Alonso OR my Ruud van Nistelroooy. Hmpf.
