BEP Were Late...Notti Kacang...

Well, they made up for a considerably hyped performance. After we waited for like, more than half an hour. I think so of the audience left their seats; mostly those rich Caucasians, especially those guys whom are dreaming on a chance of snagging Fergie up for a date.

We ate at LJ's; I had the Grilled Cajun Chicken while Luis had her Fish & Fries combo. Even though I skimped on lunch earlier, we both ended up feeling like stuffed turkeys at Christmas. On the way to the Indoor, we spotted an English guy with his mother; quite cute, tall & blonde whom Luis wanted to associate with Peter Crouch. And suddenly all very tall Caucasians look like Crouch??

Hello, Crouch is a beanpole, okay?? This one is quite filled & broad-shouldered.

Come to think of it, he looked like a blonde version of Michael Ballack. Younger, too. Fuck siaaa this Luis; thought the woman he was with was his wife. Ahahahakz!! But well, blonde Ballack didn't stop at Kallang.

At the bus stop, we happened to see a Park Ji-Sung lookalike. Eww. Mayybe that was the Malay version since he kinda looks Malay-ish & was surrounded by his Malay homies.

Once we were seated, Luis thought she spotted Nicolas in the next row but when the fella turned around, it was a WOMAN!! *bangs forehead on wall*

And then, we saw a Ruud van Nistelrooy lookalike but this was the uglier version. Really!! I thought Ruud wasn't extremely good-looking (not as dashing as Xabi!!) although he has his best moments, but this guy was, whoaaah!! Incomparable to Ruud. Of course lahh, Ruud is much much better than this fella.

Anywayz, BEP's performance wasn't exactly stellar, but it was good, complete with a live band. At least they knew how to keep the crowd on their toes. But I think overall, their best song performance was Where Is The Love. Not that Justing Timberlake was present. But well, I guess it was around that period when the Peas actually really really connected to the audience. Not that we got to see much of their faces. Even though we were located smack-dab in the middle where we had a full view of their glowing monkey logo, the Peas themselves were pea-sized. Literally, from our viewpoint.

Their opening act was the National Beatboxing Championships thing where in the end, this 15-year old guy, Ryan outbeat & outboxed his opponent.

Well, I can't deny that both me & Luis weren't that enthu about going & we kinda felt a little bad as we sat waiting. Because we weren't that big a BEP fan but I guess in the end, we did enjoy ourselves. And maybe we just outgrew the thrill of seeing superstars. The last time I went to a concert was maybe last year with Siew Wee at the Kallang Theatre where Maksim played. I remembered being 'in love' with Maksim then. Well, I still have & love his music. And we were the only ones being extra enthu then.

So, there were a lot of little Caucasian girls pretending to dress like Fergie & were bouncing up & down excitedly while waiting for the BEPs. But after a while, the level of anticipation just dropped. I mean seriously, when you're waiting for like more than 10 minutes for your favorite act to come out, even any non-fan's excitement would flop. Thank God for the free tickets. At least it wasn't a waste of our money.

All in all, I felt that even if we did buy the tickets for ourselves, the show was worth only half of what we would've paid for. We did get videos, though. I maxxed out on my card but managed about 17 vids worth 90 seconds each. Well, I wasn't there to be a videographer, was I?? Luis & I did boogie along with the songs & well, I think we were more happy to see each other than see BEPs. Whahahahkz!!

I know, I know. I'm an ungrateful bitch. Like I've never heard that one before. Ahahahakz!!

Thinking of doing some spamming. Maybe I'll post it up on the other side. After all, I think it should be my turn to post something up.

Laterz...
