Woooo-eeee!! Liverpool wins UEFA Champions League!! You'll never walk alone, baby!! They came from behind 3-0 to AC Milan during the first half with an early goal scored by Paolo Maldini & 2 other goals by Hernan Crepo to actually score 3 in the second half thanks to goals from talismanic Stevie G, substitute Vladimir Smicer & Spanish international Xabi Alonso, bringing it to a stunning 3-3 at FT. Even after 2 mins of ET and then another 30 mins, the Reds persevered & began defending with their lives, almost tasting victory that was only a penalty shootout away. Even Stevie G who usually plays midfield began to drop behind to help the back 4 in defence.

All in all, it was an absolutely great game where the spirit of The Beautiful Game shone true & bright. True, it was a little one-sided at first but things eventually evened out as Liverpool finally triumphed in the penalty shootout thanks to 3 great saves from 'keeper Jerzey Dudek in not letting shots from Serginho, Andrea Pirlo & Andriy Shevchenko into his net. Congrats, Liverpool in winning the CL title as well as being the pride of English football since Man Utd won the title back in '99.
