An Entry Before I Go...

Go?? Go where, you ask??

I am currently hired as an unpaid elderly companion setting up temporary residence in Kembangan to my much-loved grandmother. She just kicked out her last maid and is now feeling the loneliness settling in.

Therefore, it is my job as her much-loved firstborn grandchild to perform my fillial duties and stay with her until the new maid comes along.

It would be easier to stay if I weren't on detox. Like Ayuu, I worship the food my grandmother cooks in her kuali. Or wok, or pot or whatever crockery she uses. I shall look on longingly as my grandmother cooks and will NOT be tempted to break my 5-day long detox session so help me God.

Actually, I'm pretty okay with staying over at Nanny's. It's like I'm not the one babysitting her, rather the opposite. The only worry I have is what juices I shall have when my stomach growls at me. Sure, the woman has everything in her pantry. Everything except juice.

And I swear, I'm NOT going to steal the pastrami in her fridge that was meant for my aunt WHO NEVER TOOK IT HOME WITH HER!!

I'll prolly strike a deal with Nanny to see if I can grab it when I come back home. Hello, who wastes perfectly good imported pastrami?? My aunt should be slapped on the wrist for neglecting her pastrami.

Anywayz, I will be unreacheable for the next few days or so. Not that I'm going to be out of touch with civilization, you see. You can reach me via Fartz, she has her phone on ALL. THE. TIME. And she'll contact me then. Otherwise, I'll just get back to you when I get home. Which is on a Friday night, I'm certain.

I know that if my grandmother has anything to say about it, I won't be leaving at all. Her job is to pester me into staying some more so she has someone to feed. Like I'm malnourished or something.

I will be bringing Dean along with me and that is the only type of technology I will allow during these 5 days. And Dean doesn't have wireless so it does not defeat the fact that I am still unreacheable.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Today, I forgot I turned 21 yesterday although I did celebrate with my family, if you call a cutting cake ceremony without a candle a celebration. Kinda cool because it wasn't hyped up at all, we gave half the cake to the next-door neighbors. I had early birthday presents from the sisters though, because they just couldn't wait long enough to give them to me.

I love the presents already!! It's actually two pens. But what I love about these pens are that they're Transformers pens!! Yessssssssssssssarh!! I've been wanting them like, forever!!

So the kids got me two types of Transformers pens: Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.

And even though the robots whom are dangling like little charms do not have eyes, shut up about it, okay. I love them.

Thank you EVERYONE for all the birthday wishes!!

Laterz...
Lenny

I KNOW!! They pamper you to death, I tell you!! Obviously since you're the only one there, all their energy and focus is on you and their pleasure to serve you.

And their cooking is just uncompromisable. Whatever they cook is like MAGIC!! :D:D
