That Ultimate 21st Birthday Goodies List...

I wouldn't outrightly call it prezzies because that would mean I am shameless, no?? Still, every one dreams of that oh-so-perfect day where their oh-so-perfect wishes come true. In the real world, sometimes it does and sometimes, well...

So prior to my 21st birthday --you all know very well I am coming up with no form of celebration, whatsoever; yes that's right, nothing, nada, zilch-- I have prepared a list of 21 items that I yearn for. Okay, I won't say yearn. Wish, maybe?? Fine, WANT.

The list is negotiable because I am a reasonable person. And come on guys, it's time to squeeze out those creative juices. There are always alternatives. By the way, this list is in random order so they're not ranked by importance.

  1. A pair of headphones...Doesn't matter what brand (although Sennheiser works best, Panasonic is fine) just as long as they're of the punk rock chick kind.

  2. Amorito & Aztique perfume...This can be found at all Bodyshop outlets. It would be cheaper to get two for a price rather than just one bottle. Aztique smells like fresh fruits of the day while Amorito is suitable for going out at night and smells like caramel vanilla cupcakes. Muy sexy.

  3. Books, books, books...Contemporary Romance ehh, guys. Check the spine. If it says Romantic Suspense or Contemporary, that's your call to pick it up. To be choosier than usual, anything that involves military men are fine by me. Just check the first few pages to see that it's not a book that was published way back in 1980 or something like that. The earliest publishing years I'd prefer are 2000 and above. By the way, I don't trust you guys to find a Historical Romance book for me in case the one you pick feature the couple having sex before marriage. That is a strict no-no. Celebrity autobiographies are also a thumbs-up. I'm not picky about the bookshop as long as its not Popular.

  4. A nice dessert book...A good guideline follower for this would be Chef Wan's recipe books featuring only desserts. I have one at home, but I could always use another. *beams* Doesn't need to be strictly by Chef Wan.

  5. A Pirates of the Caribbean standard-sized pillowcase featuring Orlando Bloom as Will Turner...Ah-hah!! This here is a tricky bugger. It is only available in Toys 'R Us located in the States so I leave it up to you people to think of a way to deal with this one. And while you're at it, could I also request that if there are Transformers ones available, I would like one prefarably featuring all the Autobots OR one with Bumblebee.

  6. Manchester

  7. United

  8. Stuff...Which means you have to stretch your imagination and get me three types of memorabilia. Jersey, stickers, car decals. Whatever they are, I don't care. Ohh, but if you see Ruud and Becks in their Real Madrid colors, would you pleeeeease get one of those too?? Mix n' Match, if you will.

  9. A Manchester United annual guidebook 2007...Featuring all the players from 2006/07, this is an option if you are unable to find the memorabilia. See, I told you I was reasonable.

  10. A Transformers Notebook...Inclusive of a Fun Fact File that features all the Autobots and Decepticons. It is a hard cover little thing with a magnetic flap. Found at Times Bookshop.

  11. Piano books...Relatively easy to find. Just go straight to Yamaha and ask the nice counter people to direct you to the Pop section. Books are in alphabetical order. If in doubt, contact Fartz @ 96351866.

  12. A hefty slice of Chocolate Banana Cake...From Secret Recipe. I would sincerely wish to have a whole cake for everyone to share but I know some people don't like banana with anything so I'll just have it for myself and just let you lick some of the chocolatey fudge.

  13. Sunglasses...I need about 5 pairs, give or take. Because I always lose them one way or another. I am specific about the shape of the lenses. They must cover from the tip of my eyebrows just skimming the edge of my cheekbones. That way, my face doesn't seem like its bigger than the glasses. Cheapo glasses will do since I keep losing them. I'm not picky about the color. Just as long as they hide my eyes so I can stare at people without them knowing.

  14. Bowls of Calamari...Like, serious. You people know how much I drool over these juicy rings of squid. It's almost like my ultimate vice. Hand me a bowl or two of Calamari and I'll tell you anything!!

  15. Dinner @ Carousel...Neh, neh, neh. I wish!! Ohh, but wait. I DO wish. Carousel is located at Royal On Scotts, opposite Far East Plaza.

  16. Donuts...A few dozen boxes should do the trick. What?? Don't look at me like that. These are also meant for friends whom I shall share with on my birthday. You didn't think I could gobble up those things at one sitting did you? Available @ The Donut Factory, Dunk'in Donuts or better still, J.Co Donuts. The last one is a little tricky. You need to go to Batam to buy them. They just happen to be my favorites.

  17. A Car...Preferably a 2009 Chevy Camaro a.k.a Bumblebee that comes equipped with a USB-enabled transmission system to play MP3s or MP4s. I would've chosen a Mini Cooper S but well, I think that's out of the question.

  18. Boy

  19. Band

  20. Stuff...Yeah, you read it right. You know how you people just refuse to be associated with boybands nowadays?? So, all I'm asking is that you can give me you're unwanted boyband stuff; whatever they may be. I'm all for the taking.

  21. Spend my birthday with me...This is a calling plea to all my different groups of friends. Book me so I can spend my day with you.

Now, it's up to you people to grant me these simple wishes. I mean, it doesn't have to mean all 21. You can pick and choose, aitez?? Good luck with this treasure hunt of sorts and remember, there won't be a list like this next year!!

Laterz...
Lenny
