The Tudors...Pictures!!

As mentioned earlier, I have a few --okay, MORE than a few-- images I took from one of the fansites dedicated to The Tudors just to make it easier & not think I was rambling on insanely. To make it easier, The Tudors are like, a dynasty.

Say, like the one you would find in your history book about the Ming or Tang dynasty. This is the exact same thing. Only that, it's set in England...not Shanghai. There were 6 highly acclaimed monarches during the Tudor era, starting with King Henry VII, Henry VIII's father and ended with James V Stuart, therefore starting a whole new house altogether.

Meaning that after the Tudors, came the Stuarts and so on. In any case, let's not confuse people & we shall begin this historical tour.

House of Tudors...the Royal Cast.

Breaking bread over dinner.

Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, King Henry VIII, Sir Thomas More, Anne Boleyn & Charles Brandon Duke of Suffolk

Knights In Arms: Charles Brandon, Henry VIII & Anthony Knivert

The young King Henry portrayed by Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

It's hard to believe he got so fat even after all that sex from 6 wives.

King Henry VIII & Lady Anne Boleyn.

Anne Boleyn, later known as Queen Anne played by Natalie Dormer. They even got her cameo necklace down to a pat.

Queen Katharine of Aragon played by Maria Doyle Kennedy...she always wore either black or very dark colors.

Sam Neill playing Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, that conniving advisor who would soon be eliminated from court.

Henry Cavill portraying Charles Brandon, the Duke of Suffolk & King Henry's best friend.

Princess Margaret, portrayed by Gabrielle Anwar. She is Henry's older sister & the wife of Charles Brandon.

Princess Mary, later known as Queen Mary I. Affectionately known also as Bloody Mary during her reign as queen due to her massive annihilation of people suspected of treason.
Jeremy Northam playing Sir Thomas More, Henry's mentor.
James Frain portraying Thomas Cromwell, Cardinal Wolsey's sleazy secretary.
Thomas Tallis...the gay musician.

The Duke Of Buckingham...who constantly complained that he was the rightful king & got himself beheaded when his plans to kill the king were exposed. Nyeh nyeh nyeh.
They should win an award for Best Costumes or something. Absolutely wicked.
Laterz...
