Ice Skating @ Fuji Ice Palace

The day after I came back from KL -a few hours, to be exact- I had an ice-skating date with the GB Family. We needed another person to complete a group of four to enter & since nobody else was available, I called upon Fartz to come join us. Jan, Chipy, Kity & Amir were already there so I had to wait for Bunnny & Nas to complete our own group of four.

Ice-skating was pretty easy. If you look at it one way. In another way, it can be pretty damned intimidating. In some ways, it was kinda like inline skating but slightly more aggravating. And because ice melts, you can probably find yourself skating into a huge puddle of water more often than not.

I guess it's more about having the grit & determination to get on that ice. Amir had never donned on a pair of inline skates before, much less a pair of ice skates but he handled the ice like a pro. Contrarily, both Bunny & Nas suffered similar problems of skating. They managed to pull through though, because of our unlimited assistance. Heck, even Jan & I had problems. I fell once & had a part of my ego bruised, so did Jan although not many so her. Fartz took a diving fall. Literally. Chippy claimed her to be the Cristiano Ronaldo on ice. That was after Chippy had the greatest fall of all & was caught on camera.

I guess the worse thing that could happen to a person who falls during an iceskating session is to get severely wet. Like how Jan & myself did. Although we crashed onto the hard cold surface in different ways, the end result was still the same. So, check out some of the pics taken from our adventure, proving to all that we shouldn't even dream of persuing a career in raking the ice.
