Bumming Again!!

Hmpf, I just resigned from my administrative job; citing a clash of interests. Solely meaning that after 8 whole days of being an office slave, I had absolutely no interest in working as part of the administration people, especially not with a company that's atmosphere was as frigid as the temperature of the air-conditioning in the office.

I should really call my lecturer, Priscilla, just for courtesy's sake. Monday, then. The same day I'm going to probably apply for my old job at SingTel. At least the waters are warmer there.

Nini had a kenduri at her place this afternoon & of course, the Old Gang met up after a short hiatus. We fetched Nini from 7-11 where she was just ending her shift & after buying some nyam-nyams to munch on the way, set off into the pouring rain.

It wasn't as packed as I first expected, just family & a few friends. The food was good, catered by one of Nini's good friends whom inherited a food empire his deceased grandmother set up years ago...

Well, we didn't really make it as though it was a serious kenduri of sorts. Most of the time the four of us just flopped on her bed in her room & played babysitter to her kid cousins. Only when the do'as were being read did we peel ourselves & made comfortable on her floor. Which, we really even then could not sit still. While Nini was in the kitchen helping her relatives, me & Fala were horsing around as Mardiyah stoned away, zoning out into her private abyss while Nur tried her damndest not to join in, tempting as it was.

Anywayz, Fala went off first as she was head up to Parkway to collect our D & D photos. Shortly after that, Mardiyah left as well, despite the fact that she literally stayed across the street from Nini. *rolls eyes*

So, Nur & I were left to slum around Nini's house with all her other family members till the end of the kenduri.

Gonna be out at Sentosa on Sunday with the GB Family, now. And after that, an 'exclusive' jamming session at Bugis. Woooo, long day then.
