It seems that I've got a lot to blog about today, huh.
This is from Chippy in conjunction with yet another GB Family blog entry. Bunny is also welcomed to write in, even though you are not linked to me or to the other GB Peepz due to the fact that you want your privacy respected.
First up, only $10,000?? So little, arh?? Okay, okay. I must not seem so greedy. $10K is already considered a hefty lump of dough.
If I had indeed won $10K, I would first of all book myself & Bunny a plane ticket to England. The reason being, of course to fulfill our ultimate dream of visiting Anfield & Old Trafford. And then, join the rest of my gang for an all-round roadtrip to Europe.
I'd get myself a spankin' new lappie so that I don't have to share it with my pesky, bratty sisters whom even though I love to death, a sister still needs her little bit of privacy. Ooooh, and check this. I'd hit ALL the soccer shops I can find in Singapore & rummage for almost all the Manchester United & Liverpool memorabilia they have in stock.
Well, I did say ALMOST. Because, I gotta save the rest of my money for other stuff, right??
Not forgetting the fact that I'd sign myself up for those driving lessons I so yearn to go for. If I'm feeling sisterly enough, Fatin would get her iRiver she desired & of course, I'd be buying myself that iPod Video I have been craving since it came out. 60GB, please, no less.
For Adlyn & Nuryn, I would get whatever books they want because those girls are just mad about books. Actually, me too lahh. Heh. So, I guess I'd indulge myself in a shelf-load of romantic novels, too.
And for that fat lil' Nini, 10 Grande cups of Starbuck's Chocolate Frappucino. With whipped cream.
My sisters aside, I would fly back to Surin, Thailand & stay there for as long as it takes so that at least half the population of kids there would receive English lessons & be able to speak, if not good, passable English. And let's not forget stopping by at Bangkok's Chatuchak for some REAL shopping because, let's face it, I only shop once a year. That's is, only if I'm in the mood.
Last but not least, I am not forgetting about those whom are not as fortunate as me & therefore I'd send in donations to the Kids Orphanage & some cancer research foundation, preferably the breat cancer ones, so that hopefully they'll find a cure in the near future & spare loads of woman the agony of having it.
Of course, if there's any money left after all that expenditure, then I'll have to save that for my rainy days because we all know that money comes, money goes. As it is, no matter how much money a person is being given, it is never enough. That is how we humans are. Which is why greed is one of the seven sins that will put you in hell.
Laterz...
