Heh. Sorry, dear Liverpudlian fans.
After that Bolton game, I can't help feeling that way. Why did Steven Gerrard not get flashed a yellow card after that horrendous tackle on Trotters' captain, Kevin Nolan, that left stud marks all over his chest?? Why did Momo Sissoko not get sent off after repeatedly leaving stamp marks on the knee of former Red, El-Hadji Diouf??
This was an ugly side of Liverpool FC that I'd never seen before OR haven't seen in a long time. Were they that desperate to win??
Actually, the change of players kinda brought a change in the game & a difference with the way they played was pretty much visible when Luis Garcia & Xabi Alonso was brought on. But then again, Xabi was EVIL!!
Hard to imagine, huh?? A foul was made on Stelios Giannakopoulous by Xabi but the referee kept quiet. Kayu referee?? Maybe so.
And yet, Liverpool won a penalty when earlier in the game, Bolton should've had the same when Kevin Nolan was brought down by Jamie Carragher in the penalty area. A pity that Nolan kept quiet about it.
And to think that I was rooting for Bolton to win the game & cut Liverpool off. Yep. The WHOLE game, I was hoping that Liverpool would slip & let in a few goals. Which they did, thanks to goalkeeper Pepe Reina whom was deemed by Rafa Benitez as 'the best goalkeeper in Spain'. Well, as they say, even the best fall down sometimes.
Suddenly, Liverpool weren't the sqeauky clean players they were. Or used to be. Or maybe they never were. But then again, the world of football is a dirty place. I have to admit, even Manchester United players have been known to reveal their dark sides once in a while.
But, that's beside the point.
I just can't imagine the Reds playing the way they did at the Reebok & suffice to say, it was quite disappointing. Not because of the lack of goals, but because of probably the lack of professionalism shown by some players.
I don't know, that's just my opinion.
Laterz...

hmmm. U know ah.... 90 % of reports say that the game was violent. But the reports all said it was Bolton who was playing much more foul than liverpool. The bolton players are diving... pushing... playing hard tactics.
=P
Yep, I know that. My guess is that they were giving as good as they got. I'm not a Liverpool hater by any standards but from what I watched from the game, it was somewhat lopsided in some ways. From my standpoint of view lahh...
Ehh, sorry arh, mind telling me who you are??
