A very happy new year everyone!! I'm a little belated for the wishes only because I was busy watching my two most favorite soccer teams thrash their rivals. Okaylahh, it was only MY most favorite team that thrashed its rivals. The other team...ummm...not so thrashing. A little boring, if I could say so myself.
But boring or otherwise, both teams provided great results in the end & that was what counted. Manchester United played against the tough nutty Bolton Wanderers & won4-1 with a great brace from the usually selfish Cristiano Ronaldo. He did well today & so did wonderkid Wayne Rooney. Although Ruud wasn't featured in the starting lineup because Fergie wants to rest him for the upcoming game with Arsenal, he assisted Ronaldo in his second goal so, yay!!
For the past few gameweeks, my sis has been the highest scorer but this week, FINALLY, I got to be the highest & Chippy is more than 30 points adrift of me. Neh neh neh neh neh. What a great way to kick-start the new year. I really, really hope things go well for the Red Devils; God knows they deserve some silverware this season, whatever trophy it may be.
For myself personally, the year '06 is slightly special because it marks the end of my Polytechnic life!! Yesssssssarh!! Looking forward to graduating in the coming months so that I can finally further my studies overseas in a path that I can finally have. So near, yet ohhh-so-far. But, first!! Overcome all Polytechnic obstacles i.e, ongoing projects, silly Common Tests & all that Poly shit. Arrrrrgh...
My New Year's resolution is to get out of NYP, apply for a temporary job while I send out applications for universities that I can get into, fulfill that dream of Bunny, Mori & I -and hopefully just one other guy to accompany poor Mori- flying off to Bangkok even if it is only for the weekend, but the main thing is we're not in Singapore!!
May the year 2006 bring more fun, laughter, peace & joy to the world. And may silly Chelski drop points in the Premiership. I know it sounds almost riDICKulous, but can always hope because wishing them to relegation is just too absurd. Oooh, and yes, may Xabi Alonso score more goals -doesn't matter what league competition he plays in, but just SCORE, for God's sake!!- as well as may Ruud van NAAAAAYstelrooy keep up his topscorer record & continue to be the goalscoring machine he always was despite being labelled a horse.
Laterz...
