Hmmm...been thinking about doing a photo blog entry this time around, but I guess it's a little too tiring. The uploading of photos, the cutting & pasting of links & the resizing of pics from their original sizes....ugh!! So much work just to get it done. I admire Daffie for putting up that compilation of Luis Garcia photos for his 27th birthday.

But the thing is, I've got a little phobia that some people might come & rip off my photos from my blog & claim it as theirs & paste it up wherever they want. Plagiarism!! Well, kinda, anywayz. I'll think about it, though.

Today began as per normal with not much happening in the mornings except that I had a minor constipation problem & had to run about to go to the little ladies'. And during that time, I was checking my mail & idiotically left it open for the whole wide world to see. When I came back, Aiqi told me that Kan Ni Na (Mr. Kan) had stared at my screen for quite some time until he told Aiqi to tell me to power up the Powerpoint Slides. So I asked her, what was so interesting about my screen that he had to stare at it for awhile. And she responded by telling me to go take a look at what I'd exposed.

I did. And to my shock, it was pictures of a Speedo-clad Cristiano Ronaldo on the beach with his girlfriend. Oh my God!! So embarrassing!! Thank God he was gone when I came back to my lab. Jien Shiong joked that Kan Ni Na was trying to imagine his own body to be just like Cristiano's, but I said he was far too short to be compared to Cristiano. Ahahahakz!!

Anywayz, had a face-to-face confrontation with Joann today in the later part of the day. Raizan, Daffie & Michelle were there to back me; actually, Michelle was ready to shed blood, Joann's blood to be exact, and Daffie & I had to quietly remind her at times to calm down. Yeah, I know I'm the hothead who has a short fuse but Michelle, whoa!! She's like a Tommy gun from those Mafia days. She can go off without stopping, pumping in those bullets like nobody's business. That girl is one shark who'd make a great lawyer if only she'd tone down her swear words. But well, I swear alot too, so...ahahahakz!!

In the end, we all went off reflecting on ourselves; the victim -sadly, me- & the culprit. True, the damage was done but I guess by doing what we did, maybe it would somehow prevent itself from spreading even more. In the end, we did clear things between us & at least now, we don't have to worry about keeping stuff from each other anymore. I think all of us felt that it was better to talk it out rather than keep it to yourself & not know the real truth. Yes, the truth hurts sometimes -it hurt like hell for me- but hey, you gotta accept it one way or another. Otherwise, how are you going to be a better person?? But well, who am I to say such things?? I need to change for the better, myself.

I'm so grateful for Michelle & Daffie's support; without these 2 wonderful people, I don't think the outcome would have been that way. And also, to Raizan, who was the one who wanted to initiate it in the first place. If not for his persistence & the determination to salvage whatever integrity I have left, we wouldn't have done it like that. To Joann, yes, I accept your apology & I hope you mean what you said. But don't change as much until we can't even recognize the essence that is you. I know things are okay between us now, but is it possible to give me a little time to bounce back to what our friendship was before?? Thanks.

Okay, so I've spent alot of time choosing the nice pics, uploading them onto the server, resizing them & finally typing down those captions so I'd really appreciate it if NONE of you RIP OFF the pics from my blog. If you want them, then you come to me & ask me for them. I might not necessarily give them to you, but we'll compromise. If I EVER see ANY of my pics within your possession, there'll be hell to pay. This is MY blog, MY stuff; so whoever wants the pics here can come & ask permission from ME. I've seen my pics in other people's computers that don't even contain their faces so I KNOW you definitely ripped them off somewhere because there is no way in HELL that either me or Luis would let these people take them wholesale. I'm warning you; to the people I know & don't know, you'd better not be trying to save the pics from my blog.
