Yesss arh!! I have finally finished ALL of my papers & now it's time to PLAAAAAAAAAAY!! Woo-hooo!!
Today, me, Jan, Van, Such & Michelle went to Little India. The girls wanted to get henna on their hands; I wanted to do it a little before Raya so the color wouldn't fade so fast. Furthermore, I had to save up for the outing to Escape Theme Park me & the Chill Clubberz were going this coming Thursday.
Tomorrow, I'm going swimming with my ever-best-friend, Siew Wee. It's been soooooo long since I've seen her & both of us are no doubt excited about tomorrow. No doubt, there'll be much to say. I gotta work on my strokes, though. I need to seriously lengthen my short short arms. Argh.
So today we went to the bazaar at Little India but before they went to put henna, we strolled around Mustaffa Centre for some window shopping; which really didn't amount to much other than me & Mich drenching ourselves in Escada Island Kiss perfume.
We walked around the bazaar & saw...jerseys!! Original -but rejected- soccer jerseys. Hey, they were better than nothing or the imitation ones. Anywayz, of course being me, I immediately spotted a Holland jersey but unfortch it was long-sleeved. At first we really didn't bother looking around much.
But then I went over to the racks & flipped through. And to my utmost delight, saw the bright orange of the Holland jersey in short-sleeved as well as the new England kit &....the new Manchester United kit!! *Squeee!!*
I had seen the new kit at Mustaffa Centre which by the way costs a bomb. And this was at more than half the price. And of course, I wanted both; I'd be crazy not to want both. We didn't linger at the stall long since the girls wanted to get their hands done. But flipping through the rack with me, Jan mentioned that she wanted to check if the new Juventus kit was available. But both of us agreed that it would have to wait until everyone had done their hands.
So right after henna-ing themselves, we went right back to the stall & began flipping through really thoroughly this time. While browsing, Mich suddenly brought out the fact that her bro wanted a Roberto Carlos jersey with his number on it & asked me if the number printed on the shirt was the original which I confirmed.
Jan had delightedly founf her Juve jersey & of course, I had my Man U & Holland jerseys but all of us agreed that we were broke & couldn't afford them at the moment no matter how cheap they were. Regretfully, we left the jerseys hanging but promised to come back to buy in bulk so at least we could have a bargain.
What I suggested was that if we were going to Geylang Serai, then maybe we could check out their side & see if there was a better bargain or the jerseys themselves. If not, then back to Little India's bazaar hopefully before Deepavali comes.
*Sighz* Had such a wonderful day today. Exams are over. Period. Although I kinda have to come back to school this remaining days for the Laos expedition, I don't mind. I'm not working, I'm not doing anything so I guess it's a good reason as any to be coming back to school. And I've got my Escape to think of on Thursday!!
But first, swimming with Siew Wee!!! Boo-yah!!
Woo-hooooo!! Must ask Daddy for extra money. I'm stone-cold broke. I guess I'll be having a very busy busy few weeks ahead of me. I just hope that my results come out okay. I mean, as long as I don't have to take supp papers then I'm happy enough. I want this trip to Laos more than anything.
Oh yeah, and I gotta start on my latest chapter of The Two of Us, which has been waaaay long overdue.
Laterz...
